Howsit Amigos!....Choose the "safe landing" route and did 2 weeks of Spanish School in San Juan del Sur with the homestay and airport pick-up ($660.....ouch!.......).......San Juan del Sur is a lot like Kona weatherwize and attitudewize (casual).......One guy here described it as "the poorman's Hawaii"..........Then my friend wanted me to journey to Matagalpa so I did (riding "chicken buses" and everything.......)........I love it here!.....I'm going to be staying for a while (got a 12pack of Victoria for $8......). Thanx to therealnicaragua website for the info and insights I got planning my trip......Brought a cheap $10 mosquito net with me (though I really haven't seen many bugs to this point.......not like Hawaii.........)......Hope to see you all as we travel the path of happy destiny!..........
