  1. Comfort food

    Yuca, beans, and quiquisqe are my new comfort foods. There's an indescribably warm and satisfying feeling I get when I eat them, like no other food can provide. Mac and cheese is nice, but these Nica staples are more basic and elemental.

  2. I have the Cedula now

    We had one day where the person who signs the cedulas wasn't in, so had to come back a week later. Got it then. The final process took about an hour and a half at Migracion.

    Overall process takes a while.

    Nicaragua seems to get the "we've sold all these lots, and these other lots are going fast" game, and we've had one developer who's got property on indigenous land near Jinotega who had to put in a pass through to a indigenous graveyard on what was supposed to be a gated community.     Once again Costa Rica dredges up the Rio San Juan Issue to keep Nicaragua unstable to suit its designs.

  5. Now this is telicommuiting

    So I arrived Thursday (the 4th) and spent about 2 hours fighting the Movistar Dongle (my bad.. coming post in esquila technica)

    Thursday 7PM I was up and running and managed to VPN into work and clean up Thursday's outstanding questions.

    Friday again I managed to address a bunch of stuffs that would just have become tempests in a tea pot for when I return. It never fails that for every day I take off work 1.5 to 1.75 days of work accumulates.
