To all th would be employers in Nicaragua,specially Maids services or Cuidadores(property guard/manager).
I strongly suggest you paid a lawyer to draw up a contract,have the employee sign it and keep for your records.
Good luck guys,and always try to protect your A$$,be meticulous on your contracts.

I just adviced someone to do exactly this sort of thing.
furthermore, here are the labor terms you guys MUST get familiar with.
Vacations: Vacaciones 1 month per every year worked(up to 3 months accumulative I believe),unless stipulated otherwise on a labor contract.
Christmas bonus: Aguinaldo- 1 month per every year worked(up to 3 months accumulative I believe),unless stipulated otherwise on a labor contract.
Severance: Antiguedad -1 month per every year worked(up to 3 months accumulative I believe),unless stipulated otherwise on a labor contract.
Antiguedad is paid upon employee quitting or getting fired,unless mutually agreed upon
