  1. I want to put a picture into my post. How do I do that?

Hmmmmm. Looks like I don't know where to ask my question. Well maybe I found a way

    John,

Long time since I've been on TRN. I replied to one of cookshow's post (about the chicken and the eggs). But now when I click on new posts, it's not in the list. Is that a bug in the system? I know the post and thread is still there, but only not when I click on New Posts.

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Hi, Jonh! Merry Christmas to you and yours. Listen, my (now) ex husband told me today that he'd read on TRN that Bobby from Granada died. I can't seem to find this info on TRN. Is it true? And, if so, will you direct me to links about that? I rented from him for 3 months...
  4. Another quick question....I am wondering why all of my posts on the Nicaraguan culture section...specifically those about the apoyo cultural center do not appear until I log in. If you just look at this site, it looks like no one can see my comments except me. Is there a reason why? Thanks for helping me understand.

Redundant in a way. But just some random thoughts, I by the way am a reluctant FB fan, driven by family and friends. At first I refused to post anything but the most basic, then I started to get requests for more posting. Anyway, a Facebook page would most likely drive up the numbers on TRN related to Nicaragua interest and it might, I say might, encourage folks to post non Nicaragua related items on Facebook. I have been posting Nicaragua related images lately hoping to do my part in making TRN more about Nicaragua. Many of the non Nicaragua related postings of mine are duplicates of items I post on Facebook.

Hi I have a friend who is trying to buy land in Poneloya, she is nicaraguan but she has not been there in 15 years.
I would like to know if you have knowledge about this matter. This land is for business.

We are looking for a land not bigger than 2 acres, and this must be close to the beach. Also how much the land would cost.
We will need nicaraguan construction regulations to complete this project.

If you are interested in becoming part of this project feel free to contact me at yoiarleet@gmail.com.

    Thank you...

    Best Regards,
    Yoissy Jimenez

    Jonh,

Have you seen Cookshow online? I sent him an urgent personal message yesterday, but, he hasn´t responded. Right now I´m in a ¨no cash¨ mode. So, I can´t just phone him!

Hi, Jonh. I'd really like it if you'd include me in your friends group. My laptop just went all silly on me, otherwise Id have the major diacritical marks in place. What do you know about John Wayne. Sorry, but I cant get my stupid laptop to recognize some symbols!

I've got a love-a-lee rancid coconut...

by Jonh on 01-06-2012 at 09:07 PM
I mentioned earlier there are a lot of Indian people in Hicksville. We ate at one of the many Indian restaurants today for lunch, then went to the Indian grocery next door. My wife was impressed with some of the produce, and brought home some green mangos, mint leaves, a guayaba, and two coconuts.

She had something in mind for the coconuts. I don't know what, but when she starts rattling pots and pans I just step aside and let her go to town.

She put the two coconuts

The number of American ex-pats doubles

by Jonh on 03-10-2011 at 01:58 PM
From a blog by an international tax attorney:
The number of individuals expatriating from the U.S. more than doubled in 2010. Expatriating individuals include people that either renounce their U.S. citizenship or terminate their long-term U.S. permanent residency.

In 2009, the total number of expatriates was 742. In 2010, the number increased to 1,534 --- a 207% increase. Last year had perhaps the highest number of expatriates in any year in U.S. history. I anticipate that

Extended families are great!

by Jonh on 02-02-2011 at 01:16 PM
My mother in law came up for the birth of our daughter and is staying till March. Thank God for that. Not that a mother, father, and ten year old can't adequately care for a newborn; rather because the addition of one more adult family member reduces the workload tremendously.

She even tolerates our tiny dog. Actually, I think she loves him as much as my daughter and I do, which makes up for my wife's loathing for him. Maybe not loathing, but she barely tolerates him. I'm proud
