    Default Tuapi

I wish I could write like JW and tell the story of

this daytrip with more color but I cant so I wont.

    We (Pauline,Angell,Lampson and Mr Steve's

elegant wife Ceffie) She had not been to Tuapi

for some years so was happy to join us.

The road, which is also the road to Managua at

first is just red dirt (lots of different reds)

, mostly smooth but with enough washouts?

it keeps you slow and meandering to find the

smoothest path. It crosses the Tuapi River near

the swimming hole someone wrote about.

This is a picnic shelter by the swimming hole

The town of Tuapi is really pretty

everywhere is short green grass and

houses on stilts. I wanted to get out my golfclubs.

This is the school with a grassy field to play in.

Nice pictures Thom, Thanks for showing this very Dangerous Place...

    So others will stay away....

Next time, if you bring your clubs, I will join you whacking one 'o them little balls around the cow pasture a time or two, I haven't learned the game yet...
To be called a "Has Been" I must surmise, is much Greater than to be called a "Nevah Been"... JW...
