    Default Lawn Darts

I'm wanting a set of lawn darts, a full set, and was wondering if anyone here had an in. I know they were considered illegal quite a while ago (can't let stupid people have sharp objects!) but I know they are still around, in garages or elsewhere. Anyone know of any friends or family that have these babies? I'll pay a fair price, plus shipping, or arrange other means to get them down here. Bottom line is I want some.
    Gracias, mis amigos!

You may have to make your own. Duck feathers might come in handy.

Thanks John, but I'm not even gonna look at that link. As I told Roger, I just want what I want, can that really be so hard? Homesteadin's fun, don't get me wrong, but sometimes a girl just needs certain things. Mine, right now, is a set of "new"lawn darts, those pretty, colorful, plastic, heavy-weighted darts and a few rings so that I can enjoy my newly cut lawn by the seating area....not too much to ask, eh?

Are you sure that you´re not planning to load those suckers up with C-4, park the old pickup near an open bench and get set to play yard darts on the square? I can just picture those carbreakers diving for the nearest open manhole after the first neon-colored airbomb detonates nearby!

You want the illegal kind, or the politically correct bean-bag kind?

If all else fails you could buy one of the current sets, remove what ever they replaced the spike with another spike. Bean bag Velcro what ever mickey mouse thing.

Sharpen up some rebar and tie duck feathers to one end ...not the pointy end.

I'm looking for the illegal ones, I'm politically incorrect and proud of it. I was hoping that maybe they wouldn't be illegal outside the US.

Mel - I know a welding shop in Masaya that I bet you that you could walk in with a picture of that dart and you tell them you will pay a couple 100 cords ea and they will whip one up toot suite..

I can scare up a phone number if you want..

My BIL Daniel worked there in the early 80's and we stopped in for a chin wag last trip and from the conversation I could absorb there was an offer of "what ever you need in future let us know"

If you want the contraband, you have to say the password and they show you to the back room.

What if you bought an archery set and modified the arrows?
