Default I really did it this time

The past several days have been busy ones, good weather, a birthday party, this that and the other. Yesterday morning I went out to run a few errands and pick up some groceries. I cut a big bunch of banana last week and they were ready for use. I have been working up an ice cream recipe in my head, something to compare with the top shelf stuff, something along the line of Ben and Jerry's. I have been making ice cream every month or so and it is always a hit, but in typical fashion I wanted better.

While out yesterday I picked up an 7oz bar of Hersheys (80 cord), some really nice condensed milk from Jamaica and some milk. When I got home I had a coconut milked (promise a post with pictures on milking coconuts). Froze the chocolate, took the cream off the coconut milk, got my other ingridients ready, cut and chilled the bananas, procured ice and salt, before long I was making ice cream.

Let me tell you, this Ice Cream is amazing, I just had 2 cups after dinner, about a pint earlier today. Banana, Chocolate Chunk, Coconut, Ice Cream.

I think with a little work this will be some World class ice cream.

Made 1.5 gallons, still plenty left to eat and figure out how to improve it.

Funny you should mention ice cream. I was just thinking about how the guayaba jam that we´ve been making here in Alamikamba might go in ice cream.

Could this be the reason that he has been exiled to LCI, or is it BCI?
