You're invited: American Community Fair, U.S. Embassy Managua: Nov. 18, 2010 - RSVP Required!
The U.S. Embassy cordially invites all American citizens to attend an American Community Fair at the U.S. Embassy in Managua on November 18, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Please RSVP by November 17 so we know to expect you.

U.S. Ambassador Robert J. Callahan will open the fair, which will feature representatives of various U.S.-affiliated clubs, schools, and community organizations based in and around Managua. Representatives of the Embassy's Political and Economic Sections, Property Office, USAID and Peace Corps will also be on hand to meet with attendees.

As in the past, the Consular Section will be available to assist U.S. citizens with registering with the U.S. Embassy and to address questions regarding federal benefits and consular services. The Public Affairs Section will have a variety of information available about English language classes, academic study in the U.S., and access to U.S. research, news and information databases. The Regional Security Office will also be available to discuss security questions and concerns. If you plan to attend this event, please RSVP no later than 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 17. To RSVP, please send an email to with your full name, U.S. passport number and the names of all immediate family members accompanying you. You will receive a reply email confirming your attendance with further instructions. Due to the Embassy's security regulations, only those with photo identification whose attendance has been confirmed will be admitted.
