    Default November Winds

November is here and that can only mean one thing, North Wind, the last 2 days a stiff breeze. My first November I found plenty of spots on the roof that needed more nails, the first few North Winds it rattled like crazy, found all but a few of the spots.

I have one spot that has been making noise the last 2 nights, looked for it yesterday and could not find it, been up this morning with a flashlight looking at it from the inside trying to figure it out, still no clue, driving me crazy.

My house is "typical" construction, open at the eaves, this morning about 2am I reached over to turn off the fan, as I usually do at that time of morning, the fan was not on, the wind is really whipping, inside and out.

Up at 3am, freezing to death. Looking a blanket, the only one in the house. Better make some coffee. Hope it does not snow, down to almost 70 now. Yikes, where is my coat?

Adapting to Nicaragua should be a piece of cake for you!

Want some miskitu lessons just in case you decide to go east?

BTW, I had both blankets on me by morning! Brrrrrrrrr!

Guess it's all about orientation. (To temperature)

I can remember being cold in Florida any time it got below 70...but only when I lived there.

Light went out with sun up, just back on. No ice, I am not very happy right now. Wind is still blowing.

Somehow I don't think Dr. D. has ever watched Dr. W.

Or, is Dr. D. actually The Master?

Of that, being a man with a wife, I would doubt that any man is the master of his domain, least he has asked permission of sweet thing for such position.

These winds are no doubt making lots of electricity south of the SJDS turnoff. I had to brace myself on the car to keep the wind from blowing me down while trying to get a pic!

In the photo with the pink house? Nope, not paved; but there are some of those around during the dry season and things change somewhat upon the arrival of the rain. Keep ya faith....I am told that dreams do come true?
