Jonh, I have to admit this in concert with a talented cartoonist, is one of your better posts. Thank You so much for bringing to light what so many Nicaraguans feel in their hearts.....

    Damn Good One...

I'm not sure if "tempest in a teapot" is a phrase used by Nicaraguans, but it looks like what Molina is conveying.

That thought occurred to me as well when I saw that one.... He (Molina) uses a lot of colloquialisms that even family up here for 20 + yrs do not get in day to day conversations.. Tempest in a teapot being one of them..

("colloquialism" the word I learned after college :-) )

Or silenced. Happened in Venezuela and other places. After all, the content was not complimentary to Daniel.

The link I was using seems to have been changed.

El Commandante reads how he likes.

"Love your neighbor as you love yourself."

"Abuse your neighbor as you'd abuse yourself."

    Attention!
    To show a button...
The case of Condega's Channel 15: The Powers don't like what the media says.

So they threaten the cable company owner
And he yields to pressure because
    "I don't want any problems."

Many media colleagues avoid media comments because
    "I don't want any problems."

The people, media users, also say nothing because
    "We don't want any problems."

    So...
"[evil laugh] I can do anythiing I like with businessmen, pressure and close media companies at my whim. And what's more, do anything I want with the people because they won't have the means to speak out against it!"

And in conclusion, we all end up with more problems.

I had a dream last night that I was in Nicaragua, being detained on trumped-up charges.

Several years ago mine wasn't a dream was charged with being the ring leader in a child porno operation, while I was in jail every thing of mine got examined with a fine tooth comb, they found no evidence because there was none, I had not been doing that shit.

it was industrial sabotage with no evidence at all. some Basturd whispering in the ear of the local prosecuting attorney started it all in motion without one scrap of proof or any wittiness.

How much does the rule of law matter in this country?

Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words.
