Debate continues. Society, victim of juvenile crime, asks, "Where's justice?"

"Well, that's fine. But why don't you also ask, 'Where are the parents? The teachers? The churches? Where is the work of NGOs? The police? The government?'"

Well, what it comes down to is, all those other parties have their place, but without proper parenting there's no way they can keep up with all the havoc wrought by delinquents. A pro-active law enforcement effort would go a long way, though.

Are you suggesting "Spare the rod and spoil the child?" Oh, sorry. Wrong thread.

Ok I know we are getting a bit off topic but yet we are not, Yes I believe in spare the rod and spoil the child, but there comes a time that we must let them fly from the nest and eat their own dirt.

I am in the middle of that right now among other things that a grown brother should know better,

My young son will eventually stop his harsh words against me and get hungry, here the food supply is taken for a God and he will return to the nest.

My brother now had been screwing around for years unknown to me, an over 50 wanting to return to his youth, which we all know is not possible.

I sat down yesterday and forsaking my episode of Caso Cerado and until 1 AM composed a letter to him, thoughtful and telling my story in life that I asked him questions not to be answered to me but to himself.

It will be delivered soon in a print out to him, I love him and that is the only reason I took the time to do it.

    Private property - no trespassing

Apparently the Attorney General's office (PGR) is in the process of trying to confiscate some 13,350 acres of 'private property' in Tola, San Juan del Sur & Altagracia (isla de Ometepe) , mostly.

    I don't really understand what's happening actually.

They say they bought another channel. I imagine it's to transmit the "good new revolutionary."

Too bad the poor of the world don't have enough to buy a TV.

That's a 41.8% increase in the cost of electricity. Still handled by Union Fenosa? It was the INE (Energy Institute of Nicaragua) that made the announcement.

It may be time to get one of those neighborhood fellows who's an expert at splicing into powerlines to service the ol' homestead. (Another name for 'alternative energy' in Nicaragua.)

    Anyone understand the executioner's tatoo?

Let's take the easiest explanation: "the government."

You are a very observant young man, but I am not going back to figure it out, I rarely do that, right now my cornhole itches and I must address that.
