After reading about it the other day I thought about it day and night. Planting trees is great, get them started, within 5 years many will bear, diversity in the diet right there. Yucca, Plantain, Dasheen, crops you know will produce, that is next. Then start to grow some commercial crops once you know you won´t starve.

I wish I was in a position to do something like this for a year or 2, then after learning what can and will go wrong start another, building on the success, keep making it better.

I have a million questions, I swear I spent 2 solid days thinking about this and am still spending a few hours a day thinking about it. I think it is a great idea, and once I get back in the cyber World I will explain more on why.

A bit of fatherly advise, concentrate on getting re connected for now, then others can help you, we are all interested in you and what you are doing.

Yes but I have found with the right pick of people under me I can get more done connected, I know you are not into that any more and prefer hands on to deligating things, but I fair right well with is and give at least twice a week personal pep talks and they all have my # if something personal pops up or a tech question.

It has taken me a lot of time to weed out the fall by the waysides in my field to get to the good ones, I do not breath down their necks, but I do expect when in doubt to contact me.
