    Default Tapam "a fllyfishing journey"

Can someone tell me where this was filmed?

(Just tucked my question under Bluefields Fishing because I didn't know where else to put it.)

    Short version is here: http://www.janbachkristensen.com/Oth...489_JHqnB-A-LB

Interview on facebook seems to want to keep it a secret.:

"Everyone is talking about 'Tapam', the float tube tarpon video in the current issue of Catch Magazine. No, we are not going to tell you where Daniel Goz and Jan Bach Kristensen filmed it, but we did ask them some questions on their unique experiences."

I seem to remember seeing something about this a couple of years ago and my recollection is that it was the Pearl Lagoon area.
    Life's different here ... It's a whole 'nother pace.

Thanks. I thought I simply couldn't find it...have been searching for months. Have ordered the movie. Probably watched the trailer 20 times. It's a stunning visual treat.

I contacted the filmmakers because of my fishing interests in Tarpon and having fished the Pearl Lagoon area.

They would not disclose to me where they fished, but I agree that it is somewhere within the Pearl lagoon complex. Many of the spots they fished looked vaguely familiar.....In the Film...I recognize some of the water as being the channel between the Rio Grande by Karawala/La Barra and the north end of Pearl Lagoon.
