Finca Tilgüe (Tilgüe Farm) is better known as Ojo de Agua.

It's a wonderful destination on Ometepe, Nicaragua. It is a crystal clear natural spring swimming hole, located on the Finca Tilgüe (Tilgüe Farm), about a mile (1.3 km) from the Santo Domingo beach.

The spring gives birth to the Buen Suceso river. That water is said to be medicinal. Although it is cool and refreshing, it's therapeutic effects are felt after a swim in it.

There are two semi-natural swimming pools surrounded by thatch-roof huts as well as trails to wander into the forest. Drinks and snacks (such as that Coco Loco) are available. You can also bring your own stuff.

Admission is $2.00 per person and it is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this is a 10! A real gem!
