Default Watching News or Weather en Espanol

I have been finding myself watching the Spanish stations lately to try to improve in my Spanish language skills. The Latin television programming has gotten my attention for a variety of reasons. There is a lady weather forecaster named Jackie Guerrido that does a fantastic job and I am trying to see as many of her forecast as possible. I even like to go over Youtube and watch her forecast of days gone by.

For any of you guys trying to improve your Spanish I suggest watching Spanish television programming. I have a lot of friends from other countries that tell me that the way they learned English was from watching American television.

She is married to singer "Don Omar" ... Used to do the morning weather show on Univision. Now does afternoon weather on Primere impacto.

Also do not forget Paola (forgot last name) who does the weather from time to time as well ...

Saturday evening is also a good time to watch Univision for Sabado Gigante which is a 3 hour variety show. The show's spontaneity is also a good way to pick up nuances .. and well they do seem to pick rather attractive presenters as well.. But that is probably just coincidence..

    I cheated...

When I first came to Central America, in Costa Rica every day they would show re runs of the three stooges in Spanish.

Since I have seen every one of them many times in my youth I knew what was going on in English... It helped plenty.

And when I came to Nicaragua I started paying attention to Don Franchisco on Sabada Gegante, Ya know that rascal can speak 7 languages?

Now for polishing my Spanish I watch Caso Seerado almost every evening, nobody likes it but me so I am left alone with my Spanish lession.
To be called a "Has Been" I must surmise, is much Greater than to be called a "Nevah Been"... JW...

Nothing compares to watching the weather with Jackie Guerrido. JW I am telling you nobody does the weather likes she does. I have been googling her like crazy since I stumbled upon her!!!! Nothing can make a strong man crumble like a beautiful woman.

And learning Spanish from Jerry Springer and the Three Stooges? LoL. I keep trying to think how you would make those crazy sounds that Curly makes in Spanish lol.
