    Default Pom pom

It's baby talk. She ate the whole jar of Gerber purée of gallopinto. There's no more. "Pom Pom!" my wife's family says, not sure how common it is.

I think I figured out the etymology of Pom Pom: at the end of a typical Ranchera song, there's a little riff that ends with "pom pom." my wife agrees that's probably where the expression came from. "Pom pom, song's over!"

I`ve heard it too, so I asked my stepdaughter. She laughed and said it was a tonteria nicaraguense that means ``that`s all, it`s done``. baby talk.
