    Dinosaur Exhibit

"Small minds, large snouts and huge tails, and to think that creatures like that used to rule the Earth!"

    "Yes, love. 'Used to.'"

    What is it, ma'am?

It bugs me that every time the "low fuel" light comes on, the temperature goes up!

    But ma'am, you're confused. This isn't a garage, this is a hospital.

Excuse me, the confusion is yours.

@#$ Businesmen! @#$ Gasoline! They don't last long!

    Facing our seismic reality:

It's useless to worry about these faults...

    ...without worrying about these...

    "This block looks odd!"
"And you haven't seen the 'macaroni' rebar!"

A lot of rain... Thunder... high temperatures...

    Climate change

    "Get me out of here!"

"Ah, you don't like it?" "But if you made it up!"

That's what I love about learning Spanish (i.e., a foreign language), it causes one to rethink 'reality'.

What is 'real' isn't just 'royal' in Spanish, it's also their money, and there's an abstraction that couldn't be more 'real'.

The odds against you being born royalty are LARGE. (In fact, all bets are off.) No wonder peons happily accept poverty - it ain't 'real'.
    I never met a Semite I didn't like.

I've been slacking on the 'toons because I've been at the beach this week. Working, that is. No kidding. There's a 1932 beach house owned by a prominent local industrialist and they want to do some renovations and needed as-built drawings. I've spent most of this week measuring it all up and taking notes. Anyway, we continue the cartoons with this one:

Happier to be hanging around here if these people promise to come back and clean up!

Molina is M.I.A. I started a new thread using Manuel Guillén's cartoons from La Prensa.
