    Default Masaya bypass

Reading the news posts a couple weeks back about the Masaya bypass..

Starting right away blah blah blah....
Finished in 6 months blah blah blah...

I was amased to actually work has started via Google maps .. This must be a less than 5 or 6 month image I guess...

Start.. About 4-500 M before the Tipitapa highway..

End.. About 4-500 M down from Las Flores rotunda..

Anyone been through lately to see how the progress is going??

I's checked on JW's house many times on GEarth.

For my second Hitchhiker's Guide reference today, "You've got to build bypasses!"

    Yep, that's me.....

And on the 8th day, God created Samuel Colt, who his begats went on to invent the model 1911, a point and pull kinda thang with a hell of jolt and splat against those of wicked intentions.

No longer oh mankind must thou be condemned in defence of thyself to the Jawbone of an ass only.

The above is the kind of VHF radio remarks that earned me the title years ago as... "John the Baptist"...

Funny you should mention that on the day Dianne Feinstein introduces a bill to outlaw them.

I had to look at google after JW's description of where he lives. Not sure how to add a quarter mile to an airport but I think I see where it may be. For some reason I always thought JW was so close to the water that waves were washing his deck. The world is sure getting smaller with the internet. We all need a moment of silence for Al Gore.

As a concerned citizen I feel its my duty as a humanitarian to reduce violent crime. The majority of these incidents clearly show the mental health system is not functioning correctly. Since the anointed ones are not competent enough to fix the mental health system then I feel it is my obligation to assist. Since I care so much about my fellow citizens I am willing to take pro-active possession of any banned firearms or high capacity magazines. (I would say assault weapons but they don't exist) I will carry this burden so your conscience can remain clear. Please PM me for shipping arrangements. (Shipping fees not included) You are welcome!

And it is done... Or actually has been done for almost 6 months.. Have not driven the span but have circled each of the rotundas at either end.. It sure makes the Masaya Managua highway quiet.. It is amazing how quiet things are now... Marta's house is 300ish meters from the old Managua - Masaya - Grenada highway...

Does anyone have any idea how often Google Earth updates the satellite shots?

No set time table.. It is always hit and miss.. Granada has been at 10m/pixel for years.. Mind you I have not checked for over 6 months now.. Masaya is still 1m/pixel and seems to get an update every year or so..
