Hour Offical, or Hour Costeno? when dealing with the locals... It is funny at times... Ya just can't let things like this get to ya is all, or you will go crazy...

"La hora nicaraguense" that is how I remember it. You tell your guests for your event to show up at 1:00 p.m. and they start showing up around 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. My wife who is Nicaraguan told me this is typical nicaraguan response and is called "la hora nicaraguense" I grew up in Southern California and when you show up 15-20 minutes late to any event you simply arrived too late !
