I guess shoes are the ultimate gift for women.. Look at the Wizard of Oz.. women fighting tooth and nail over a pair of shoes, NOT to mention that Girl with the Glass Slippers in another Story...
To be called a "Has Been" I must surmise, is much Greater than to be called a "Nevah Been"... JW...

Do you have Imelda's phone number?

Seriously, what is a Constancia de Jubilacion?

Can't they just look at you and tell that you're an old fart?

Imelda is everywhere. Or is it Ymelda? anyway, they built a shoe museum in her memory in the Philippine, but her spirit lives throughout the Segovias.

If they just looked at you they would have to flatten you out, notarize you according to the Law of Photocopies of the Republic of Nicaragua and staple at least one hole in you.

This deal thru the Consulate is much better than my original proof of income which had to be stamped by 6 offices in 5 different cities.
