    Default What's biting?

My brother in law (born in Esteli, lives in Fla.) wants to go to Nicaragua this month and/or February, and spend 3 days fishing with his son. He fishes all the time on the Intracoastal, so he knows what he's doing. But he wants to know what's biting this time of year, where, and how much would it cost for two people?

I have no idea if he wants fresh water, Atlantic, or Pacific, I guess he just wants action.

Contact Dario at San Juan Surf and Report, 2568-2022 or 8984-2464, and tell him Natalie referred you to him.

Nice TRN fishing story on them.

There are other cheaper non-professional options.

Weather is still a little iffy on this side. Should be getting better but the past 2 weeks they would have been doing little fishing if they had been here. Another month or so and the Ocean will be like glass.

If he can swing it, something like Sabalo's would be amazing, Tarpon, Snook, tc.

So far so good, I'll pass these along. What else is there? Too bad FCM is MIA.

Fishing with them would be cool too. I met Randy years and years ago with Alan. He should know all the hot spots, been here for 10 years or so.

Well, if I were to say anything it would in all probability be 180 degrees WRONG.

    But I will say this.

In the local market here there is Nevah a want for ocean or river protein in the form of Finfish. So the locals must know a little about what they are doing.

Be it Snook, Mas-mas, Copper Mouth, or Palometos from the rivers or Snappers, Groupers, King fish, Spanish mackerel or shark from the coastal seas.
To be called a "Has Been" I must surmise, is much Greater than to be called a "Nevah Been"... JW...
