Default Cigars - Managua or Esteli

Chilo leaves for a 1 week trip tomorrow.

She is open to taking back the entire 50 Cigar limit.

What is a good $1 or $2 Stogie FROM Esteli that can be bought IN Managua or Esteli - She is open to busing up for a day to Esteli (Brave girl) just to see the town. Managua is more convenient.

    Cheers

No need for bravery to take a bus up to Esteli. The express bus is air conditioned and comfy.

Meant that in the context of travelling alone.. She is scared S#!+ less about flying alone this time..

SIL Marta is the same, who is whom she would travel with to Esteli..

What are they afraid of? Personal safety? Thieving? Seems quite safe to me.

If I asked he to list what she was afraid of as we leave Kitchener she might be finished the list by the time we reach the airport 100km (60 mi) away ..

I've been on that bus, agree good way to go. Is there a schedule anywhere? I remember the last one passed the airport about 3PM . . .

Are you set on Esteli cigars?

Is she staying in Masaya? If so, why not head to Granada for cigars instead of Managua or up to Esteli? Granada has a nice cigar factory called Doña Elba's. I have enjoyed all of the cigars I have purchased there. I had gone to Sultana's cigars across from the central park, but when I asked one of the carriage drivers (Mariano) where to buy cigars, he graciously stopped at this non-discript shop, walked me to the door to make sure I got to the right one, and then waited for me to make my purchases.

Then again, Esteli is supposed to be the cigar capital of Nicaragua. Very likely if she is willing to go there, she might have a much wider selection to choose from.

Aye,, there's the rub, matey . . . getting great cigars but at a killer price.

Lot of cigar buyers used to stay at Los Arcos, don't know about now, met a buyer from Hamburg, Germany, there at breakfast one morning. I thought he was form Texas the way he was dressed

Yes, a lot more land is being put into Tobacco north of Estelí. Some new cigar store called NicaOnly or something like that slated to open just south of Estelí on the Pan Am.

Supposedly BIL Marcos has a line on some Esteli Cigars.

Being that he got Chilo a Celdula in 3 days and recently got a nephew (Born in Canada to Nicaraguan citizens at the time) a Nicaraguan passport in 3 weeks.... I am thinking these will be good :-)

    They are here..

Pesimistically I could say that each Cigar cost me $16 and each Tona cost $30 (Chilo's ticket). Will cool the Tona for the first snow, which is not far away..

Ordered a 50 Cigar Humidor today off of Ebay...

Best be at or below zero C - They become a slushie at -4 ..

Beer choices - Plan is for a 10'x10' or 12'x12' bar stool / sit down hole in the wall with smoked meat and 3 beers on tap (A red Ale, a Pilsner and an IPA) starting in 2021 .. Not taking reservations until 2020 though..

i am curious, what legal/licensing requirements are necessary to make cigar exporting a business on the Nicaraguan side...I am planning to move there permenantly and was wondering if this would be a viable small business?
