Watch out for the drug labs and the deep jungle Embera. I have it on good authority that the U.S. knows there are many drug labs in the Gap, but they cannot locate them via satellite because of the triple canopy jungle and the almost constant cloud cover. The Embera from the deep jungle in the Gap are reputed to be cannibals.

Please let us know about your trip once you get the proper paperwork and make it down there. It sounds like a thrilling adventure.

Most mornings I take to the road around 5.30am. I generally greet 20+ people a day on my 15 minute walk. Hello, Good Morning, Buenas Dias, Teetam Yamni. How do I know how to greet who with what, well that is a magic our friend Doniston will never master as he cannot observe the obvious around him.

I believe that if he ever arrives in The Port he will often hear Sap Bas, and probably at his age the occasional Raya Bas. Tinki Pali will likely not make his vocabulary as he has no need to offer Thanks. Bal Nada he will shout, but who will come?

You think shit is normal here? Today around Noon I heard Barry Manilow singing Copa Cabana on the radio, next song was in Miskito, that is what we call normal.

Doniston, I really hope you are just a Troll and not some Old Coot about to get all your feathers plucked.

tried watching this. Seemed a bit silly. The first two episodes they are out there getting 100k+ in equipment, making statements like "2 guys alone and 20,000 miles", except they brought multiple support vehicles and other cameramen bikers, had specialized consultants for each stretch of the trip, and complained about not getting free bikes for the trip.
not my style of travel for sure.

Once they get to Kazakhstan it becomes more raw - That is where the support crew can not follow any longer.

Since I have no idea what those words mean, I call your post "CRAP". If you want me to know what you are saying, you will say it in English. However, I assure you that while I don't always tell the WHOLE Truth, (to retain civility) Everything I DO actually say is the absolute truth. whether you folks believe it or not

Further, since I am not there, there is no way I can appreciate what is around me (THERE). and I will not know how to great anyone until I am there to experience it. where I am at, greeting people is no problem, it is all friendly. and it would be there IF I WERE actually there Tho I doubt I will ever move there, not because of the locals, but because of the EXPATS mostly, who don't even live there.

The Bard was much more pleasant, intellectual and (at least) in Nicaragua.

Hard to imagine her as a teenager with attitude.
