Will somebody do the math please.

50 metric tons equals how many LIVE...I said LIVE lobsters? Which means lobsters plus oxygenated water to China?
    Life's different here ... It's a whole 'nother pace.

I may be wrong, but when I was a kid, I was told that live spinys were not shipped like Maine lobs cuz if a dead lobster in a tank stayed there, the decomposing lobster would contaminate the water and kill off the other. Like I said, dunno fer sure...

A feller named Lee from California set up a live lobster operation here like an idiot. I told him to start with that the divers here hurt the son of a guns in their method of capture, they do not understand the price difference of a whole fish vs the price of the tails alone, you can show him all you want but they will not change.

It was a failure, but it was interesting to see how they were handled. first a tank, a big tank where filtered water was sturred about for a over nighter, then another tank where the temp was gradually lowered in the water by means of refrigeration to a certain point the lobsters went into hibernation.

They were then packed in insulated boxes with strings of wood shavings that had been processed to take out any oils from the wood shavings. Kept at that temp for shipping and handling to their destination.

He had the process down fine, but couldn't get the product. I had told him he should go to Bluefields or the Corn Islands but he was somewhat of a Knucklehead.

OPM so I guess he didn't give a crap.
To be called a "Has Been" I must surmise, is much Greater than to be called a "Nevah Been"... JW...
