As a devout heathen Taoist I reject eternal damnation. That is for the other fellows. I was born with original goodness, m/l.
In bo centennario we were were triangulated by 3 churches, the Church of the Man in Pain, the Church of the Race Track Announcer, and the Church of the Woman who Sounded like she was being Raped below my Bedroom Window. Lotta different congregations here, including a few dignified ones like the local Assembea de Dios.

ah, Pirate, you didn't live 1/2 block from the La Anexa skool with a bedroom window facing the school. Before they painted it I though it was a municipal truck yard or something, but then came tambor month.

Pity the people in Esteli's premier neighborhood, la Riviera. County fair grounds, 2 sport parks, and a church or 2!

And it could be worse. What if they could afford tubas?
As Colonel Kurtz said,,, " ....the horror,, the horror . . ."

Yes, you can always tell a school by the paint job.
When I moved to Condega I painted the house I rented and everyone in town,, one at a time,, complete strangers, told me that it looked like a school.
One thing you learn (besides churches, drums,, vagos, endlessly barking dogs,, ) in Nicaragua is, rent upwind.
That Condega house was impossible to keep clean,, even though the street in front was paved.

The Estelí house was on a dirt street, but the wind blew the dirt in the other direction.
    Less traffic helped too.
A complicated thing,, renting a house in Nicaragua.

The farm is wonderfully quiet at night. The dogs are too far away to hear,, I don't have any dogs myself.
Only one rooster, and I have to get up at night to pee anyway, so . . .. his timing is generally pretty good.

I hear that I'm getting 20-25 eggs a day now, don't know what is happening to them, hope that Sebastian is enjoying some protein.

Shhussh, Pirate, it will get out on the net that Nicas don't have tubas and somebody will start another NGO!

Wind sucks. Our room faces the NE. Now with a wall 4 feet away and the windows closed for the AC, its amazing how much less dust we have. When the little woman is distracted I may ever silicon up one of the persianas for even less dust.
    .
But wind sucks when it doesn't blow, too. Weather report for today in the perfect climate says- "80F, feels like 94F". It's the 85% humidity that makes it so nasty.

Bill, you see the people going to hire a private jet to fly their pets, think it is on the SJDS page.

Reminds me of a guy I met on a construction job in AZ. He had built (taxpayer) houses on a res in the north the previous year. He came back to do some other jobs and noticed that one Indian had knocked a hole in the bathroom wall so his horse could drink out of the bathtub in the winter. Now there's a man who loves his horse!

Sell. Selling empty space to those who need it as well. Probably $4CDN ($3ish US) per cubic foot) Plan is to have all of this (stuff) pay for that (Container and passage) We will see how it works.

I've got some stuff I'd love to get down, new stove, fridge, and WD.
    Logistics would be impossible.

Pic from the current trip,,, we're in Nogales, AZ,, spent the night in Nogales, MX last night,,, officially crossing in a couple of hours.

Glad that Mexico isn't one of Trump's "shithole countries" ,,,,
He didn't specifically mention Nicaragua (probably thinks it's part of Africa).

Might have to dance a bit harder going through Honduras and El Salvador.
Then again,, the whole DACA, TPS amnesty might happen before we get there.
Ariana might even have a green card in hand by the time I get back to AZ.
They printed up five million during Obama's reign,,,

Fridge - Doubt we would import a fridge - The ones we seen lately seem good enough for the price listed.

Our apartments will be couple / singles oriented so a full fridge is not in our plans.

Full size NA stove is up on the list. Too early in the move cycle to choose one now, but NG stoves with readily available LPG conversion kits put it high up on our list.

There was a nice Fridigid Aire 4 burner at the local Habitat store for $150 but nowhere to store it.

We will need 7 of those in the end.Washers are planned to be a bank of 2 and from up north - Dryer will maybe be an option - Not sure

Will be NG converted to LPG without a doubt, but the power suck will be too much - Each apartment will be individually metered, but the W&D will be metered off of our feed.

Some bits that appear to be generated by the Onion satire site - Not know for sure...

The Good Part about Living in San Juan del Sur is that “Nicaragua is Just up the Road”

Some recent travelers looking to spend an unlimited amount of time in San Juan del Sur were surprised to find they had to go through parts of Nicaragua first in order to get there.

Damien Slouch, an independently wealthy 23 year old, currently living a tax free Pre-Brexit life in Europe said, “Dude, it’s a Municipality or something, like Monaco or Luxembourg, we figured we would get straight in”.

Another visitor, Saffron (currently working through 200 hours of online yoga training) was here for the yoga vibe and said, “I don’t think it’s necessary to visit Nicaragua as I have everything I need here in San Juan del Sur”.

She added, “I experience enough poverty within my group of friends and in any case, Nicaragua may be just up the road but as soon as I got here they put the taxi prices up by 10 Córdobas so now I doubt I’ll ever see it.
