    Default Multi-tasking

Been remiss again, fellas, lo siento. Working like a crazy woman, just trying to find those cordobas. Thankfully, I have THE best landlord in the world. There's an awsome flat screen on the wall in the kitchen area now, which allowed me to keep working AND watch the Atlanta Falcons win that nail biter on Sunday. Had a few points of failure recently with customers so couldn't make rent, but he was totally cool with it, and when I paid half, he thanked me... didn't know they made landlords like that!!!

Trying to see just how good I am in the kitchen this week, deliveries to Granada, then Managua, then Diriomo. Would sorely love to get to Jinotepe, but can't see where I can squeeze that trip in. Ah well, there's always next week. This morning was chock full of baking, have figured out a way to (carefully) stack pans in this tiny oven so that I can multi-task and use less propane. Got chicken pot pies, broccoli cheddar quiche, dark chocolate cashew brownies, and salted caramel apples pies done so far, but still plenty more to do later today... I'm thinking it's past time to sit!

Here's a little tease for y'all, made up a few of these today, and will make more tomorrow... salted caramel apple pie. Hungry, anyone???

Halloween's around the corner and, while I was too discombobulated last year to celebrate, I'm jumping in with both feet this year. The Expats in town here seem interested, and I've organized a group of ladies to help out. We'll be having 20 kids from La Esperanza come for the fun, so I'll be sure to post pix after the event!
