Default Happy New Year guys Prospero anos felicidad

    Hey All

I was looking for a thread to troll into and none of them fit.

Happy new year to all you all

Sitting here in the Seattle area. Building Ferries for Washington state. I don't care too much for that, but it is a living.

Hope you guys that I don't see on facebook are all well. LCT Tom and Key West. I see JW and John on facebook so I see they are okay. I don't know if JW is in the states or not. He might be keeping that information to himself for some reason. I forget the names of some of the guys I used to read.... Some fellow that would walk miles and miles in different areas of the country. What is that guys name?

Anyway, Happy New Year. Prospero Anos Felicidad

Happy New Year To You Too!

2017 HAS to be better than 2016.
Except for HRC getting her just desserts finally, (and that was a high point) 2016 was a hard year.

2016 was not too bad for me, did not get much done but that is not so abnormal. 2016 will be remembered as one of the Rainiest Years I have witnessed here.

2017 has started out with a bang. 2 days of Sun and today looks to be the same, been months since we had 3 days in a row of Sun. New Years Day I strolled the Beach and got some MUCH Needed Sun, I was becoming a Real White, White Man.

This is probably me. I'm on Ometepe now at the moment, but I'll be moving again soon.

Happy New Year to you too.

    Why don't you come north?
Maybe too soon, though,, still chilly.

Or, It was nice north of Chinandega on the beach.
    Perfect temps
You could talk Joe at Joe's place into $10 night.

There's a cabin on two acres for $20 night:

My wife is leaving me,,, I'm thinking of becoming Walking Man II for a month.
It's just,,,,, I really like hot water

And, I've got too much to do.
You're a lucky man,, unencumbered as you are.

There is probably not another man on this site who could just pick up and move on. We all envy you.

I'm off to take a long shower . . . . I keep the water in my tank at 145 degrees.
I read somewhere that that is the limit for the pvc cement that holds my pipes together.

But, I'll be thinking of walking the beaches north of Corinto towards Honduras.

Jingle Bells, Santa smells, Easter's on its way...
    Never was good at music.

My plan is to travel more this year, too much time spent on family business in the States and construction and maintenance in Nic. Need to smell the roses more.
We need to set up an annual plan, a hot spring, a trip to Somoto and Jalapa, a trip to Leon and Las Penitas, etc. etc. to counteract the mindbogglingly boredom in the Segovias. Haven't been to CR in years, and we did not do Panama right when we went there. Cheapest flights to South America are colombia, so off to see the Andes.

We only have to build a frigging wall and maids quarters to take care of the house when we are gone...

Yes it is you indeed DrLemcor. I just read your Balgues story. I remember I was the one that suggested you start to take some photos and it looks like you are doing it. Great threads you make. Always good writing, and the pictures help still. Funny about the dogs in Balgues.
