Today is a new one. Toshiba 65" LED TV with a LED boot problem.

They threw one out at work where the LEDs do not start but the TV Boots (You can see the display with a flash light)

Chilo wants it sent south so I have to see if I can meander through the board or buy a new one (Power board) for $90

The thing is Huge - But shipping buddy says $130 gets it down there..

FYI for solar hot water- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legionnaires%27_disease

" The bacteria grow best at warm temperatures[4] and thrive at water temperatures between 25 and 45 °C (77 and 113 °F), with an optimum temperature of 35 °C (95 °F).[21] Temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F) kill the bacteria.[22] Sources where temperatures allow the bacteria to thrive include hot water tanks, cooling towers, and evaporative condensers of large air conditioning systems, such as those commonly found in hotels and large office buildings.[23] "

Exactly ... Up here they now mandate 140F water heaters with a mix down for the outlet water (We have it set at 120F)

So in the end I would say shot bearings.

The new motor had almost zero end play (like 2 or 3 thou) and spun sooooo smooth... and for about 20 seconds when hand spun.

Air movement is at least 4x of what it was. The proof comes this aft when I get home from work @ 30C / 37 with the humidex.

Buying eastern White Cedar and getting western Red Cedar - Score!!

My search for place up in da nort whit da moose and da bears and da beavers hit a "ping" this week with 5 acres up on Manitoulin island. It is only an 8 hour drive. Looks really promising and if I get some positive answers back I may go see it the weekend of the 27th or our August long weekend (Civic Holiday, first monday in Aug)

This fellow is an odd bird

He is "The Voice of the report of the week"

He has had a YouTube gig since he was in his Mid Teens - He is also a bit of a shortwave hobbyist and actually buys an hour of shortwave radio time every week (On a few transmitters)

The radio show is oddly good and has a good eclectic span of music with context for each song - Thursday evenings is when it broadcasts @ 6 8 and 9 PM est. He used to repost the broadcast to sound cloud and the like but got hit for copyright infringement so only the shortwave broadcast has music. his podcasts/youtube/soundcloud versions are talk related which is kinda like a cross of Art Bell, a financial analyst and occult hobbyist :-)

But the majority of his earnings seems to come from food review videos for fast food. This is one of those.

Last time I looked at social blade they calculated that he was pulling in something like 50K/yr
