SCTV was a satire show of the late 70's early 80's - They did one episode where a Russian satellite intercepted SCTVs signal and broadcast Soviet TV channel (3CP1) to the unsuspecting inhabitants of Melville.

It is one of my favorite episodes of SCTV ever..

There is Meme after meme on the Masaya and Managua Chisme pages about the below casket carrying group and Sandinista fallen to C-19.

The jist of the meme did not clkck with me so I took to Google and found out that they (The men in Tux and hats) are the casket carying team from Ghana and many of the memes are composed of a BBC piece from the mid 2010's

Quite the fascinating funeral tradition it appears.

That's a quite awesome formal jive-boogie coffin-carry to the graveyard. Puts a spin on death that renders it a happy ending of life.

Fittingly what pops up next on YouTube is the new beginnings with SpaceX,

For the scientifically minded, on the current protests and the overreaction from those who should know better. I subscribe to this guy - he always has something profound to say, if you can get past his manner.

But,, how does he keep his TP from being stolen ?

    That won't work in Nicaragua

I need an outhouse. I was hoping to go a little deeper, fill it a foot with rough rock, and then some gravel. I was hoping to use a 1.5 gal flush toilet, the pee and crap is not a problem,, crap is 90+ % water, we used 55 gal drums as septic tanks in Mexico.

The TP IS a problem, it clogs the rock and gravel surfaces where the crap is broken down by bacteria. Since I won't be using the facility, I think we will go the Nicaraguan way, or the Bush Radical way. I can put it on Javier's weekly routine

    People also ask

Is Charmin toilet paper bad for septic systems?

Does Charmin test to ensure that its toilet paper is septic safe for plumbing?

Yes! Charmin evaluates its toilet paper to ensure that it is safe for all of the places it might end up after flushing. ... This includes drain lines, sewers, septic tanks, and municipal wastewater treatment plants.

    And a toilet seat.

I worry that our plot on the island may not have 6' before bed rock. Planning a trip in July to get a better lay of the land.

Our Shitter in Masaya is almost 14' deep

The perimeter fence is in process now - 2X 75' long - Built up from the 4'6" up to the full 9 - They started Wed .

Our country place has bedrock at 30 inches. We have an outhouse but it is built with the floor 2 ft. up from ground level which is standard in the neighborhood. Some are even built strong enough that they don't fall in. You can make an above ground septic system but they are expensive because of all the extra masonry plus stairs.
A neighbor just built a septic system, grapevine says it is already "full". Well, of course it is full, that is how they work. The question is does it drain anywhere in the rainy season?

Some motion to fix our sewer system in town. I ignore the comite because I told them the shit can run down the street. When it bothers me enough i will put in a septic.

The nicest outhouse I have seen here was on a farm up near La Concordia. It had no (closeable) door. You sat on the crapper and looked out over the coffee plants. Picture postcard perfect!

And then along comes a mama wolf spider that nested under the seat-plank to sink its fangs into your scrotum cause it's gotta feed its babies.

In our country place I spray with baygon, but that didn't keep bats from nesting there. they had to be "smoked" out, which is Nicatalk for burning them, the same you do for avispas.

I can say with complete confidence that this is the most boring video ever posted on the internet.
