This one is kind of meandering narration on lumber prices.

What he mentions for Lumber is the same final price here. BUT we started lower.

2x4x96 up here were typically $1.85 through $2.35 - They now show $7.75 at home depot.
    4x8x5/8 T/G OSB would typically be $13 to $15 - Now $35 bucks.

Lumber is (Pun intended) through the roof !!!!

I don't know what is going on either. I used to buy 15/32 OSB for $5 /sheet. Granted, it was a while ago.

But I remember it at $10 last year.

It's $27 at the Home Depot in Tucson.

92" 2x4 hemlock you used to be able to get for less than a buck.

Went on Home Depot to check prices for plywood and about s--t. What happened?
And social security estimates cost of living only went up 1.3 per cent???
    Life's different here ... It's a whole 'nother pace.

You retirees are supposed to be sitting at home in your rockers,,
watching All In The Family reruns: "Those were the days, men were men, girls were girls" . . ..
    You don't need plywood.

Oh, wait,, I remember,, you're not retired

Hey, if you live in the Southeast this hurrican season you may need a lot of plywood.

Really cool 3 axis CNC table for under $1000 CDN - THat would be $700 US.

Like the DC 3, those 747's are not going to go away.

With incredible payload capacity,, they will be hauling cargo for the next 20 years.
    And troops during WW III
The 747,, not the DC 3

They can't land where the DC 3 can, with it's tail dragger configuration, and 1200 ft runway requirement.
Estimates of DC 3's still flying vary,, and the Soviets manufactured the plane under license for a while.

As a commercial carrier, they are not going to come back for sure - BUT as cargo, like you said sure - The bellwether would be Amazon If the Amazon fleet starts to bulk up on old 747's sure.

I guess this extra is for KWP - There is a US overlander who goes to HF all the time. Someone invited him to BC to see the city of Vancouver and he had to to a Princess auto (our equiv to HF)

So here is a walkaround of Princess

I get out to our local PA 2 or 3 times a month... It is only 5KM away.

    Thank you!

We have three HF in Tucson.
They just had a 30% off anything under $10,, buy five items with the coupon.
    Weekend only.

Probably every one of the customs guys in El Espino has one of their tape measures, or one of the 4-way screwdrivers.
It never amazes me how cheaply you can grease the skids: 99 cents for the tape measure,, and 74 cents for the screwdriver.
Really, it keeps them from stealing something more valuable as they rummage through my stuff.
At least, I hope it does.

I don't know how they do it, Seriously,, how can you sell a screwdriver like this, carded,, for 74 cents?

But Eric Schmidt is a billionaire,, so he must be doing something right.

I've purchased from them since they were a mail order outlet in Camarillo, California,, over twenty years ago.

I'm in there so much,, that I know all the people,, one of the managers told me,,
"You should come to work for us"

    That PA video was impressive.

It's kind of like a combination of HF,, Grainger, and a NAPA

And a lot less paper work and cleanup than a street sweeper or a snub nosed 38 with hollow points.

In my community, Champas de Amor, we're all Trumpers, except maybe the young girl with the yapping rat dog.

No dogs allowed, but she claims that it's a service dog.

Our "Remembrance day" is the WW1 armistice day (Nov 11)

There was a poem written by a Canadian Dr. about the symbol of WW1 (the poppy) and what we wear to this day.

This year there is a twist, you can pay for your poppy by tap on your credit card - The funds from the poppies go to keeping the legion network of halls alive.

One of the better pieces from 2006 on the run up to Remembrance day..

    This is Peak Saskatchewan...

As for "buddy" here is a 19 yr old trapper hunter living in the Woods of Saskatchewan. His channel is just a steady stream of profanity but the kid appears to have a good head on his shoulder.

I watched about a 1/3rd of his vids so far and after you ears stop bleeding from his use of the English language (to which I am no master for sure) , it is pretty good stuff.
