This is why I love South West. In the late 90's early 00's I flew them regularly and loved the attendants Schtick.

In 90s I flew SWA lots... For a while I had a free companion pass.I was racking up a free ticket a month, every free ticket they sent a book of drink tickets.

Flying out of Dallas Love Field they always had free donuts and coffee in terminal for those flying early.Always fun to fly.

No restrictions on the free tickets, great Xmas, wedding, etc, presents

Excellent stuff. Jordan Peterson, political psychologist, is a brilliant advocate for letting capitalism continue, since it's on a roll. Even the poor are rich, he says. He puts down Marx as a typical narcissistic thinker, not critical enough to see the flaws in his manifesto.

But that was just one side of a top notch debate that drew Canada's largest audience (for a debate) there in Toronto 2 years ago, pre-pandemic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsWndfzuOc4 At 2 hr 40 min, it requires a high motivation threshold to listen to it all, but considering the USA is undergoing a no-holds-barred Marxist takeover these days, it's particularly worthwhile. Some may have problems with Dr. Zazek's Cossack English.

The audience was great cause they were so involved on both sides of the issue.

Turns 80 today. Our meta-beatnik poet songster, Bob Dylan, a no-show for his Nobel Prize. Who does he think he is anyway?

When used to go to Baja Mexico had something very close on my Chevy Tahoe, not quite as fancy, spent many nights under it and we could pull it out on side of road and have a quick picnic or work on a car.

The get-a-vaccination drive will go doo-wop. Reunion in Philly (virtual). The Silhouettes will do “Get a Jab” to support the effort at the Wells Fargo Center on the 12th of Never.

Of course, they’ll get vaccinated first (those on this side of the sod).

Stumbled upon a few of these planning videos over the last couple three months.

One of the bits this guy ges over, about rolling your savings into fixed return assets too early, I really see the wisdom of.

The main reason we got a financial advisOr back 6 ot 7 yrs ago was that I thought you were to start rolling your savings into fixed stuff (GIC, money market bonds etc etc) @ 5% per year as you turned 50 and had the whole thing buttoned up to almost an anuity by the time you are 65.

BUT keeping it at over 80% equity has really paid off.

Funny thing and AdvisOr up here is really just a glorified insurance salesman up here - and AdvisEr actually has a fiduciary duty to look out for your and your earnings. It took a while of fighting off recommendations to buy extra life and extended disability insurance to figure that out.. Never did buy it though..
