I am not sure on how I got Harold Nicaragua on my feed, but he is - Chilo wanted to watch some Nica Youtube after the Jays got hammered by Tampa Bay - First we watched some Chico (Who has been planted in Tico land for the past 2 months) Then some of the Biking Coffee guy and then some Harold.

Harold is also planted in San Jose, this seems odd to be a coincidence - Two Youtubers in Tico land for no real answer given - Maybe it is

Anyways - Harold goes to see the stone carver outside Esteli.

    That was an interesting explanation.
I use Google Maps a lot but I really don't know Managua well and probably never well.

As long as you have a major point of reference Google maps works well.
Any hotel, government office, any business that has a web address.

But,, getting to someone's house,, forget it.

Streets COULD be mapped,, numbers assigned,, a simple project these days.
This was starting to happen in CR when I left.
I won't live to see it in Nicaragua.

Data mining is key to developing advanced A.I. (artificial intelligence). TikTok is ChinaÂ’s most data-productive app. So when the CCP strategists ask: "How will Americans behave when we take Taiwan?" They don't have to search long.

Martin chops trees. The skeeters shown in the video are very similar to May June up where our plot onthe island is - Ergo we do not plan to spend meny, if any, springs there. By the time jyly ends/august begins it is more Deer flies but not as consentrated as the skeeters

If you touch their tree they fall off on to you and bite. Pain, then big welt the size of a cord for about a week.
Glad I am not a traditional Maya, but maybe compared to modern medicine they really weren't that bad.

In traditional Maya medicine, acacia ants are used to treat depression by forcing an ant to bite a vein several times, usually in the crook of the elbow.[7] The ants can also be crushed to form an oil which is applied to the chest to treat asthma.[7]

    Haven't come across these yet.

Plenty of ants that go straight up your leg for the huevos, chewing as they go.

The odd wasp, some spiders that look suspiciously like black widows. The odd snake.

Everything seems to try its best to live and let live .

Some day I'll learn to turn over a rock before I pick it up.

Yesterday I just showed the youngest granddaughter what a warrior ant nest looks like. It was located in a great location to step on by accident.
My fix is to put the equivalent of whatever insecticide is around, usually cipermitrina, in a gallon of water and pour it into the nest. a gallon will treat several nests.
