That Cowboy Coffee guy was interesting,, but he went on and on. And on.

I really liked his cast iron pots.

About 40 years ago, I left a small town in Ohio to move to Florida. It had the best hardware store ever. The owner had everything and often when I would go in, I would not know the name of the farm item that I wanted and he would just say "Describe it and wave your hands, I'll find it."
    He never let me down.
I remember he had a display of cast iron skillets on the back wall near the register and I vowed that I would not leave Germantown without a complete set. Alas.....among many of my broken vows, I did not get that set and I regret it this day.
It was a wonderful store and experience.....probably an Ace Hardware Store today with the usual snot nosed, un-knowledgeable kids....

While living and working in tidal Delaware I ate muskrat. The animals were as common there as squirrels in a northern park with oak, even had caution signs on roads at 'muskrat crossings.' Damned tasty when prepared right with a ton of sage and days of soaking, tho still muddy. Not for the persnickety eater. Ditto with guinea pig enjoyed a la shish-kabob in Quito. Looks for all the world like roasted rat.

    Today: A Jeep for Einstein....

This fellow is rather obnoxious but also funny and factual. His youtube on social blade indicates a yearly haul of $600,000 to $1.9M depending on how the numbers fudge.

I believed our esteemed leader has a soft spot for the ol' Jeeps.

His body language - the arm swings and nervous hands - says more than his spiel. Salesmen are a special branch of humanity.

I ran across this bloke (UK chap) maybe 3 yrs ago when he was building a cob wood house. After that was complete I did not know he built up a work shop and (in this video thread of 22 parts) an earth bag work shop.

It is a long series and spans about a year of work.

Dr D or BC hombre could have added some stuff. Reading the SJDS list BC Hombre is having some issues with his place though.

This fellow (Nik) is a carpenter in Serbia - There are some previous videos where made a pretty spectacular tree house with hand made tong and groove siding etc etc..

Now he is working on his home which looks to be a 25 x 25 ish solid log cabin.

Right now he is 13 parts in, this the link to part 1 where is a bit too "Zen'y" . It can get a little too deep in the details, but I like that.

Each piece is 30min to 40 min.

He has some pretty cool ideas and in the end it will probably be a jaw dropping structure..

This fellow is a Lego builder / user, but that is not the point of this video - This video breaks down "how much" and "how" you make money on Youtube

He is pretty straight forward on his numbers specifically on how they break down with views.

The context is the 20 to 40 thousand subscribers which is s B list you tuber.

Yes, fascinating. Seems to be the modern equivalent of the lemonade stand - low overhead with potential of zero to as much as you can do. $10k a year is nothing to sneeze at.

Precisely. When passers-by were thirsty . . . This tech-savvy guy is making useful how-to videos, a service people are interested in. His 'commission' may depend on how valuable the IDs of his viewers is to those who buy such info from Google (advertisers, and more).
Makes me wonder how much those dorks who make cat videos earn.
