    Default Laundromat in Jinotepe...

Lavendería Express, a new self serve laundromat, has opened in Jinotepe! It's a spotlessly clean place located one block south and one block west of the central park.

Hours are : open at 7am seven days a week, so it's a great way to get your stuff done fast and early. Self serve washers are 35 cordobas per load and dryers for 40 cords. They also offer a drop off service where they'll wash, dry and fold for 10 cords/lb. Closed at 7pm through the week and early at 1pm on Sundays.

We have been trying to keep this quite for years Bradley....

This would work in just about any sizeable town, provided there is plenty of water and electricity, AND a strong economy....Which all are in doubt right now

My Wife and myself started building one here on the DAC before the elections....Right now it is on hold because of wanting to see which way the economy goes, if it does not do well the women folk are going to stay with their battlin" boards at home.

I have plans to have dryers available, as well as plentyfull clothes lines on the property, big screen TV on channel 10 of course and Ironing boards avilaable, with tricyclos picking up and delivering ....

My wife is of Miskito and Chinese extraction so it will be called....

I don't know who knocked your Idea, but evidently knows not much about Central America, having a wash dry and fold here is quite expenseve in comparison, I have more than 20 years in CA to attest this...

BTW creative minds here set trends, and often win...

I think I had mentioned that it is more of a matter of selecting your clientel or finding a way to get the people that are accustombed to cleaning their clothes by hand to change and use your facilities.

    Default And just because

there's one that has opened in Jinotepe sure doesn't mean it will be successful. If the owner can't get the word out, she's doomed. New businesses close just as quickly as they open.

I believe those who gave you advice were simply trying to save you the hassle of losing $$$.

Let someone else make all the mistakes, then when you've learned from them, beat them at their own game.
