Looking for a big turkey?
I celebrate Thanksgiving in Nicaragua. *Though, this year I have changed the date to Friday to accommodate school and work schedules.
I am buying my turkey at Magna. *It is a bodega that sells to restaurants and hotels. *No membership needed. *Located in San Judas.
The smallest is 18 lbs and goes for 48 cords a lb, which is a good price, compared to the supermarkets.
Magna also sells cornish hens, french puff pastry, parmesan from Italy (cheaper than Super), etc. *Their prices are good. *Note that some items are only sold in bulk, like the puff pastry.
PS: *You can make pumpkin pie with ayote.
