I celebrate Thanksgiving in Nicaragua. Though, this year I have changed the date to Friday to accommodate school and work schedules.

I am buying my turkey at Magna. It is a bodega that sells to restaurants and hotels. No membership needed. Located in San Judas.

The smallest is 18 lbs and goes for 48 cords a lb, which is a good price, compared to the supermarkets.

Magna also sells cornish hens, french puff pastry, parmesan from Italy (cheaper than Super), etc. Their prices are good. Note that some items are only sold in bulk, like the puff pastry.

PS: You can make pumpkin pie with ayote.
