We will have to arrange a Corn Island get together once I get some shelter up. Do some fishing, drinking, eating, & story telling.

    Default Goal?

    Kevin,

What is the goal of such a big endevour?

You are growing much more than you can personally consume. Do you wish to sell the excess or show the islanders that it can be done?

    Or both?

Good question. I have plenty of friends here that enjoy fresh produce, & I have a big family that I will help feed. Most of all I love to cook & want to have the best ingredients possible. I am sure some will get sold or bartered for other goods.

It just seems more interesting to me than playing solitaire & any leftovers I will feed to my pigs which will end their eating careers in my smokehouse.

Like JW says, a man can only drink so much rum.

    The main reason, for myself....

I'd like to see Morimoto challenge Iron Chef Atlantic or Iron Chef Quinta Quixote in a gallopinto battle.

Atlantic Coast Gallo Pinto would win hands down, especially if made the traditional way, with coconut.

Boy I miss the Food Network, used to be on in MGA & I always wactched it when there, sometime around the 1st of the year they replaced it with the "baby network" no kidding, tv for babies, there is soft music, & different colors on the screen. Still shaking my head over that one. I have to check if Food TV is available with a direct tv here, if so I am getting a dish...

    Home.

Was rainy yesterday so the rocks had a nice color and the fallen blooms on the ground under the Malinche Trees I planted looked nice, just normal Island rocks, volcanic.

My first read of Kevin was about this time... he had just built a fence to give the natives an idea of what private property was about. Said that more people were on his property after the fence than before, to see why it was fenced in. I became an immediate fan. Got tired of reading about the rain though. I live in Seattle and rain sucks.

Nice you carved it out the way you wanted though. That can be put on your stone when they bury you.

I was looking at this thread and seen El Doc on here, and Santana. It made me look at some of thier old post. Seen a fight between Howard Cox and El Doc and now they are both gone. Wonder what happened to Howard? Last heard El Doc is back in Mexico.

Did Santana resurface anywhere else? How about Howard?

Where is Dr Lemcor? He is missing again.

Me, I am living in Seattle and a bit depressed. I need to make a change again. Where is the big money these days?

I think the big money is in health insurance nowadays . . .

Was wondering about Drlemcor also, don't remember him saying he was heading home or anything.
