    Default Learning to Scuba Dive

One of the things tourist and locals like to do is scuba dive. Scuba Shack provides instruction beginning with basic in water training at Pelican Eyes.

These are two students from yesterday's class.

ah hah! the underwater shots! I knew they would be coming.

Where are the best places for tourists to go scuba diving around the San Juan del Sur area?

    Default I don't know...

all the spots, but I enjoyed my dive to a Russian fishing trawler just a little south of town. While there are several spots that folks go to, I really prefer Little Corn where the visibility is much better.

I was wondering about the visibility issue on the Pacific coast. Does the dive shop sell a dive map of underwater treasures to see?

Ahh, gotta love those ol' "Russian fishing trawlers." Was all the surveillance and radio equipment removed?

How much does a basic introductory scuba course cost?

    Default It includes equipment

and if you want to go farther, I think you can apply what you pay towards a more advanced course. i could be wrong on that but that is what I remember.
