    Default Houston,we have a problem

    Things I miss about Houston:
    1. The Art Car Parade
    2. Ouisie's Chicken Fried Steak
    3. Peach Bellini's at La Strada

Things I don't miss about Houston:
    1. 1-10
    2. Starbucks. I can't believe I drank their crappy coffee almost every day of the year!
    3. The weather. My Houstonian friends thought I was crazy to move to the tropics. Hello!!! Houston is a giant, steamy swamp, ranking just barely above Hell and New Orleans on the comfort sale on a humid day in August.

    Default Bluebell blues

Yes, Rob is a keeper! Sorry I didn't get to see you when you were here.

BTW, I saw Bluebell for sale at Stop and Go six months ago. Okay, it's in Managua, but if you are willing to spend $10 on ice and drive as quickly as possible on the return to SJDS and then toss the partially liquid ice cream in the freezer, you, too, can enjoy Bluebell while watching the sunset from your someday to be constructed home!

    Default Things I miss about Houston . . .

The fat paycheck for doing a job I that I would have gladly paid to do.

Things I don't miss about Houston:

The fragrant aroma of Pasadena on a hot September afternoon (though they say as long as you can still smell it, you're in no danger).
