Lake Managua's new touristic port that Daniel Ortega inaugurate and is claiming as one of his projects (just a few months back) is not doing so well with all of the rain. They say that if it rains anymore there could be serious damage. This project cost U$1.3 million dollars.

Looks like somebody didn't pay attention in class. How the hell did that design get past QC? :LMAO:

They say that at one time Managua flooded out all the way up to where the Crowne Plaza stands. and they also say that with a mix of a volcanic eruption of Mombotombo and rainy season, most of Managua could be under water. Hopefully that doesn't happen for a few thousand years.

Looks like the site-selection team has got some explaining to do.

I wonder if they realized they can make floating docks these days (and it's cheaper than driving all those piles ).

Drinkin' might be a bit difficult soon considering that a group of the CPC is trying to take control over a plot of land in front of the Cerveceria, which is utilized by the trucks of the company. They claim that there is no owner of the property.

What? Property that doesn't belong to anyone? I'd challenge them to find property anywhere in the world that is not owned.

the Land in front of Cervecería Victoria, in "barrio José Dolores Estrada"
They claim that the property is of the State, while in the registers office it says that Ganado Lacayo Sociedad Anónima is the owner.

Cindy McCain can afford to buy it and give it to the brewery as a gift of solidarity.

A bailout for the beer industry; because if they fail, society suffers!

Pretty remarkable how quickly the phtographer was able to get his before and after shots. Thats usually the time frame for a diet commercial.
