Demands:
1) The end of the persecution of members of the "Movimiento Autónomo de Mujeres", "Red de Mujeres Contra la Violencia", "Grupo Venancia" and all of the organizations of the Civil Society and international cooperation which are being arbitrarily harassed by you (Daniel Ortega).1. Exigimos el cese de la persecución contra las integrantes del Movimiento Autónomo de Mujeres, la Red de Mujeres Contra la Violencia, el Grupo Venancia y todas las organizaciones de la sociedad civil y de cooperación internacional que están siendo arbitrariamente hostigadas por ustedes.
2) Rejection of you (Daniel Ortega) and others use of your positions of power to persecute those who oppose you in some way.2. Repudiamos el uso que ustedes, y personas allegadas, están haciendo del poder de los cargos que ocupan para perseguir a quienes se le oponen de alguna forma.
3) We put you (Daniel Ortega) personally responsible for the security and the integrity of the feminists, which have been exposed to violence through your positions of power.3. Los hacemos personalmente responsables de la seguridad y la integridad de las compañeras feministas a quienes han expuesto a la violencia desde las posiciones de poder que ustedes detentan.
4) The behavior of the Judiciary branch to follow the laws, be transparent, and free of political pressures and stop immediately the practice of harassment of members of organizations defending Human Rights.4. Exigimos un comportamiento del Poder Judicial apegado a las leyes, transparente y libre de presiones políticas, y que por tanto detenga de inmediato las prácticas de hostigamiento a que está sometiendo a las integrantes de las organizaciones defensoras de Derechos Humanos.
5) As people defending Human Rights, we declare you (Daniel Ortega) and members of your government Non-grata in our country, and request that our government (El Salvador) will officially recognize this initiative.5. Como personas defensoras de los Derechos Humanos, declaramos persona non grata en nuestros países al señor Daniel Ortega y los integrantes de su gobierno, y gestionaremos ante nuestras autoridades para que esta iniciativa sea acogida oficialmente.
6) We Support the petitions of other diverse social movements, networks and legally constituted organizations of Nicaraguan Society, which have denounced in front of the National and International public opinion and instances of human rights in the UN system, the actions of persecution carried out by the Nicaraguan government, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Mr. Daniel Ortega Saavedra.6. Apoyamos las peticiones planteadas por diversos movimientos sociales, redes y organizaciones legalmente constituidas de la sociedad nicaragüense, que denuncian ante la opinión pública nacional e internacional e instancias de derechos humanos del Sistema de Naciones Unidas, las acciones persecutorias desarrolladas por parte del gobierno de Nicaragua, bajo la conducción del Presidente de la República, Sr. Daniel Ortega Saavedra.
7) As people defending the Human Rights we express to the Governments of Iberoamerica that you present these manifestations publicly against the actions which have been made (by Daniel Ortega and Government) in the next "XVIII Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno" which will take place in El Salvador October 28-30, 2008 and require Daniel Ortega to stop the repression against the defenders of Human Rights.7. Como personas defensoras de los Derechos Humanos exigimos a los Gobiernos de Iberoamérica que se manifiesten públicamente en contra de estos hechos en el marco de la próxima XVIII Jefes de Estado y de Gobierno que tendrá lugar en El Salvador los próximos 28,29 y 30 de octubre y exijan al Señor Ortega cese la represión contra los y las defensoras de los derechos humanos.
