Head of the Nicaraguan Army, Omar Halleslevens, said today that as of yet there are no signs or information for them to believe that there will be any "major disruptions" or threats that could interupt the Municipal Elections on November 9, 2008.
Halleslevens said that they will mobilize 8,000 troops, 204 land vehicles, 8 aircraft, and other resources to guarantee the security of the elections.
