This is really out of the box thinking, not as easy as it looks, but in short.

Every bamboo post will have 6 rings of 6 pots each, so 36 plants per sq/mt.

Automatic liquid fertilization, BTW - cauliflower and blueberry have the identical chemical formula for " food "

    Merry xmas again

Isn't this a version of the same system shown in one of my posts about bio-fuel generation by Valcent technologies? They make algae for bio-fuel and use a similar system for vegetable growth. Lots of high tech stuff that makes no sense in Nicaragua.

Actually this high density growth system that nicatroll is putting together makes a lot more sense.

Very, very cool stuff. I hope it works.

    Where is this located? Jinotepe?

    Hi Tom.

It's hydroponic, 100 % - I just try to simplify a expensive system into something that everybody can do without killing themselves financially.

It's not very high tech, but very logical.
The location is on the new beautiful road to Casares. It's a old army base that I hope will inspire people to work together.

I had studied hyrdponics and know it makes rapid growth in a small place, but it is very tempermental and an error can cost an entire crop. It is very hands on needing constant attention. Your methods have to be bulletproof.

It's not as temperamental as you think.

There is a few basic things that you need to know, the secret I THINK, I might be wrong, but, my mission is to simplify things, I think that I am on the right track.

Blueberries and cauliflower need the same fertilizer, funny.

    Merry Xmas.

    Roger.

I really do wish you luck. Anything I do say that is negative is just opening a thought so that you can correct things before they happen.

The people that I know that use hyrdoponics do not feed the plants about two weeks before harvest to get any chemical taste out of the final product. Actually, the soil growers need to do that too, but it is harder to do in soil.
