Default My Fishing Partner for Life

At merely 2 years 10 months, I've taken him fishing to nearby ponds, and he loves fishing.
I rigged him with a tiny fishing pole,I would cast a 6 inch worm, rigged texas style for him,and he would retrieve it.
Wouldn't you know it,on his first fishing trip of his young life,Daddy put him on some fish, including this hawg that easily weighed 6 pounds,he went on to catch 4 large mouth bass this day.
I gotta give Mama credit, since I made her go with us,to take the pictures along with a few videos of him fighting the fish.

    Enjoy the pics yall.

    Way to go Daddy-O.
Next thing you know he'll be begging you to go, and you'll have to say to your wife..."Sorry, but Jr. wants to go fishing again, see ya later..."

There are NO large mouths (bass that is)in Nica, unless the golf course people have planted some there.

i'd thinking nica would have a great climate for growing big bass!

The climate is fine for Bass, it's the competition they would have to worry about.

One thing I noticed about all Nica waters is that nothing swims around on top of the water...., birds, insects, animals, etc....because they would become an immeadiate unwilling participant of the food chain

Actually,in fresh water lakes(Specially Apanas and Lake Nicaragua) they would thrive and won't have to worry about competition.
Lake Apanas in particular has tremendous potential for water type(depth) cover(timber flooded) and prey, millions of Nicaraguan shad (plateadas)and juvenile tilapias.
Bass in Apanas would grow to huge size due to the above mentioned and they are more aggressive than guapotes, the dificult part would be to get them there,I strongly believe both species could thrive side by side.
In Lake Nicaragua they would multiple but would not grow too big(just like what has happened to the guapotes there) the water table is not clear and not as oxygenated and clear as in Apanas.
Furthermore in Apanas, in Late May you see plenty of insects on top of the water and the guapotes scooping them up.

    This website: http://www.nicaraguafishing.com/World%20record.htm
lists a world record "rainbow bass" caught in Nicaragua. What is a rainbow bass?

FAP I was about that age when my dad took me Squirrel hunting down in the swamps on the river Trent.....

I remember it to this day......I thought I could walk on the water and stepped right out of the Batu Jon boat.....

The 'ole man really thought he had lost me, but got me by the hair of the head and saved my sorry A$$....

Went up on the shore, built a fire to dry my clothes and warm me up......

I will NEVER forget the great times I had with my Dad....Do it broder....

BTW my mother would have killed him if he came home without me.....
