    Default Managua Bus Route list with most Assaults

    Nationaly there has been 3,790 Robberies with Intimidation (on commuters) reported from Jan-Jun 2009, this is a 32% increase from last year.

    Out of these robberies 20% were commited against people in vehicles:
    7% in taxis
    2% in buses
    7% on motorcycles
    1% on bicycles
    3% personal vehicle

    ...and 80% on people on foot. Again out of the robberies with intimidation 35% were commited with the use of a firearm.

    The Managua bus routes with the most assaults are:

    102
    110
    104
    MR 4
    164
    118
    158
    Siete Sur routes

    In the first Trimester of the year there were +2000 Roberries with intimidation on Bus routes in Managua.

    According to the District 3 Police, the Worst Time & Days for assaults are:

    10AM-12PM and 2PM-4PM
    Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

    Worst bus stops by district:

    Ministerio del Trabajo (Mitrab)

    District 3

    Siete Sur
    El Zumen (area)

    District 5:

    Mercado Roberto Huembes
    Universidad Centroamericana (UCA)
    Universidad Evangélica de Nicaragua (Uenic)
    Reparto Schick (area)

    District 6:

    Shell Waspam
    el Dancing
    Villa Miguel Gutiérrez
    Iván Montenegro
    iglesia Madre de Dios
    La Chelita, in Villa Venezuela

    Is there a bus route map on line anywhere?? I have searched and searched but nothing ever came up...

    I have never seen or heard of a bus map for Managua, I use these routes all the time, just kind of figure them out as you go by asking the people waiting.
