Managua Robbery
My wife just got robbed around 5:30ish today, of her purse not far from our home, about U$200 and 1000 cordobas, 2 bank cards, her license, cedula and all sorts of other papers. She was coming home from the bank, and had some money to pay our maid, and the rest of the money was for some weekly expenses coming up.
We just finished calling our banks to cancel our credit cards, no transactions were made, thank god!
Only thing that scares me is that the robber now has her banpro account print out (which shows the balance) and our address.
Police at district 5 station were very unresponsive, as they said and as we figured, not much they can do more than a police report.

Re: Managua Robbery
I think my wife accidentally dropped her wallet out of her bag she had thought that she was pick pocketed, in anycase she was pretty upset about it, I called her yesterday when I was at Miami airport and a good summaritain (however that its spelled) returned the entire wallet with everything inside including the $250!!! There still are a few good people out there apparently.
Lucky this time.
