Wahl, kinda put a scare in me with that declaration of a Happy New Year!

When ya become seasoned, `tis not so unusual to miss out of a few things because of memory slips or just plan don`t give a sheet attitude, but to have missed out on three days kind put me in a funk?

I guess that ya must be going somewhere and don`t plan on the daily hash for a couple, huh?

Get wild, party hardy and hurt no one. Accept the things that come; good or bad, because it`s my experience that the bad can be the best and the good can be the worst..........and your mind might just fade out on ya...so go wild while you can still remember and have a Happy New Year!!!!

But there is that silver lining.............these folks believe in eating and eating good, every day.

My new knee has to have one of those overload springs built in it, for I have refused nothing!

They all closed at 6 PM :-( ..

We have 5 yr @ $23.50 and 7 yr @ $27... Just a bit pricey compared to the states or in Nica land...

We pay $19.00 for the Gran Reserve and $14.00 for the 4 yr old. I haven`t seen the 5 year old in my liquor store. I was responsible for them getting the FDC in the first place, when I started to order it by the case.

Now everyone around the little city seem to enjoy!

In the early 70's we entered the 20th century.. Before that all the hooch was in the back and you filled out paper slips of which bottle you wanted (there was a limit as well I am told ) and your order was brought up front in a paper bag..

Canadian prices in general are 2.5 to 4x higher than the US..

That is how a single payer health cars system is payed for.... Cheers

No 4 yr up here.. It is Chilo's fave (extra lite) - Hence the 3 - 4L bottles that the customs "dude" let us pass with last Jan.. We still have 1/2 bottle left one yr on..

The Canadian distributor has not replied to any of our emails for importing 4 yr up here.. (Liquor and beer production and destribution is private in Ontario, liquor sale is a Gov monopoly chain and beer retail is a Brewers oligopily chain)

As a comparison.. Tall can of Ol' Milwaukee is a $1.75 and my fave Grolsh is $$2.25 a can...

If Tona were to be sold up here I would bet it would be priced at $1.50 to $1.75 a 330ml bottle..

Don't worry, buddy. We use the Gran Reserva around the house for unexpected visitors and cleaning wounds. I wouldn't think of bringing anything but Centenario on this trip.
