'Cause of the "A" at the end of the word, right? Keep guessing...it does do the job of cutting though...well, the job of maybe 10 cutters.

Not sure I'm qualified to guess. Worked on a farm picking & packing peaches for two summers. So here's nothing:
    __a lawnmower
    __a blender
__one of those kitchen gadgets they sell on 30 min TV infomercials

It is starting to sound like a John Deere tractor with a "Bush Hog" behind it on a 3 point hitch....

Now that is a Farmin' tool....

Aside from the "chopadadora", I have heard that they have come up with something now that does the work of 10 men!

    One woman!!!

It was told to me as a joke but I think it's true in Nicaragua, at least, if my wife's family is any proof!

What is the prize anyway? A gift certificate to shop at http://www.bushhog.com/

Hey, a bush hog is a type of mower; OK, not exactly a lawnmower, but I deserve some kind of consolation prize.

Besides, you threw me off track with all your photos of pretty food dishes cooked on the farm. Figured it had to be some kind of a kitchen chopa-thingy.

When I grew up we had two.. After the busy (greenhouse) season my Dad would farm myself and one of the other summer students to mow some local plots a Toronto speculator gobbled up as Brantford tanked in the 70's...

City bylaws said they had to be kept mowed.. 3 plots, 20+ Acre each this guy had.. About 5 hours every 2 weeks.. July to Oct.

The best game was "guess the thud"....

    Groundhogs were particularly distinct...

The right spelling is Chapodadora, I'll take a Cuma Machete on the hands of a Campesino any day

JMc... it is no joke from what I have seen, depending on the drive and business hardness of a lot of the women here seems to me is how well the family lives.....
