My favorite book is subtitled Life and Adventures Among Gentle Savages. I think it fits your stories!

I don't know about anyone else, but I just noticed the creative spelling of this tread title "Catchy Tittle." Maybe that's the title, or tittle, JW is looking for.

I'd suggest using your first and middle name initials with Wayne as I think most people in publishing would not be pleased with John Wayne (it's rather taken even if that wasn't the actor's real original name). I don't publish as Brown to keep from being confused with others.

The title generally comes from the marketing department unless you're very good at coming up with a title. Even small presses can change titles.

The way to approach an agent is with a sample chapter and a letter of introduction. Describe the project, tell them about earlier publications, etc. Most publishers don't read unsolicited or un-agented manuscripts (the exceptions are s.f., perhaps some of the other genre fields).

If you don't get any commercial interest, do self-printing, but not self-publishing. The self-publishing racket costs far more than Kinkos or a direct books on demand deal with the actual books on demand manufacturer.

    Hey Mupitara,

I just found the book you were referring to on the web and downloaded it into my Kindle.

You can download it to your computer or read it here:
