Basic Function of Position
The incumbent of this position will plan and implement programs that advance the teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in Nicaragua. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: works closely with educational institutions and NGOs to ensure effective programs; advises the Embassy on the most appropriate programs and on developments in the field in Nicaragua; maintains relations with Nicaraguan universities and other educational institutions to promote English language training, recommending programs, changes and new learning methodologies; and organizes speakers, training, exchange and specialist programs to strengthen English language teaching in Nicaragua.

For those interested: From what I am learning an FSN08 position here in Nicaragua will give you a salary of approximately U$15k for the year in total. Not bad for Nicaragua.
