Not sure I spelled that right. Y'all check out this gorgeous wood.

It's a 4x4 that I've sanded and polyeurathaned. Muy bonita, no?
Roger went for pine here in Jinotepe and they didn't have the right lengths so he bought this. Can't remember the price offhand, Roger says it's one and a half times the cost of pine.
The stuff came out so darned pretty, we've decided to use it for columns on all the porches. Next week Roger will pick up six 8' lengths which I will let dry for a few months, then sand and finish. Ooooh, can't wait to get them installed!
